NDP leader would reinstate funding for B. C. drug testing
NDP leader Adrian Dix is concerned about the influence big pharmaceutical companies have had on the independent testing of prescription drugs in B. C. That is one reason why, he said, an NDP government would reinstate the University of B. C.- based Therapeutics Initiative, which evaluated drugs for Pharmacare and was widely credited with saving lives and money in B.C.
