  • Understand the social science literature that states we are all susceptible to bias
  • Understand that bias is present in all humans and is not a measure of character
  • Describe which cognitive biases maybe involved with educated people that are influenced by marketing
  • Describe strategies to minimize bias
  • Understand the impacts of bias and influence from marketing on clinician behavior
