Join Dr. Jessica Otte (MD, CCFP), Dr. Tom Perry (MD, FRCPC) and Dr. Aaron Tejani (PharmD) for an evidence-informed discussion about anticholinergic and statin drugs in the elderly. Apply the evidence and broaden your skills in this interactive workshop on deprescribing.

Participants can expect to:

  • Increase understanding about the use of anticholinergics and statins with the elderly, employ tips to spot subtle side effects, and articulate why to minimize/avoid their use.
  • Develop a practical process to use when reviewing medication lists and deprescribing.
  • Practice working through cases and increase confidence to tackle their own cases.
