Since issue 155 (May 2025) of the Therapeutics Letter (Oral vs IV antibiotics) was released a couple of weeks ago, there has been a lot of interest in this topic. In response to requests from our readers, the Therapeutics Initiative is pleased to offer a supplemental handout to support the conversation around selecting oral versus intravenous (IV) antibiotics. The simplified messages and patient-friendly language have been adapted with support of our patient partners. We welcome feedback on this handout at info@ti.ubc.ca and your input will help inform the creation of more patient-facing materials for Therapeutics Letters in the future.
